“Note to self: every time you were convinced you couldn’t go on, you did.”
“I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it.”
― Maya Angelou
Have you ever wondered why some people seem to remain calm in the face of disaster while others appear to come undone? People that can keep their cool have what psychologists call resilience, or an ability to cope with problems and setbacks.
This training will teach you how to master and harness traits that will help you understand that setbacks happen to everyone on earth; that life is hard and painful but above all else you can come out better than before.
Resilience does not eliminate stress or erase life’s difficulties. Instead, resilience gives people the strength to tackle problems head-on, overcome adversity, and move on with their lives.
Not only will one be able to remain strong in the face of unbearable loss/pain or difficulty but one will be able to carry on and even offer emotional support to others by the same crises, problems or crises.
